You Ought To Give Them A Hand...

In today’s Gospel we hear about the Good Samaritan. It is very important for us to be givers and helping toward others because you'll never know what a great impact you might have on someone because of your kindness. You never know what someone may be going through so always be quick to say something positive or lend a helping hand. Herman looked at the struggling trio and said to himself, "Here is an opportunity for service. You ought to give them a hand." But an opposing voice within chimed in, "No, It's none of your business. Better not Bitter!

"Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” – James 1:2-4. “Trials and tribulations make us better and not bitter.” +++ There is a great lesson in the story of Ben Hur – a young Jewish lad who is charged with a crime he didn't commit. Keep yourselves in God's love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.” – Jude  1:20-21 . +++ A man who flew his own plane, or so the story goes, got tired of the long automobile trip from the airport to his country cottage which was situated on a lovely lake. So he equipped his plane with pontoons so he could land on the lake in front of his home. However, on his first trip with his newly equipped plane, he headed for the airport as he had always done. As he was going in for the landing his terrified wife yelled, "What are you doing? You can't land on the runway … you don't have any wheels!" "Fortunately, he was able to swing his plane around and head for the lake. After he landed safely, he heaved a big sigh of relief and turned to his wife and said, 'That's about the dumbest thing I've ever done!' The
