Cross It & Move On…

“For I will be merciful toward their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more.” – Hebrews 8:12.

Eric was promoted to a higher grade and instead of Pencil started using Pens. He often made mistakes. He would try hard to erase them. Sometimes he used chalk, but it later reappeared. So, he began to use saliva, it worked but only to leave holes in his book.

Eric’s teachers then used to beat him for being outrageously dirty. But all he tried to do was cover his errors.

One day a kindhearted teacher called Eric aside and told him, “Little boy, anytime you make a mistake, just cross it and move on. Trying to erase it would only damage your book.”

“But I don’t want people to see my mistakes and laugh at me.” Eric protested.

“Trying to erase it will make more people know about your mess, and the stigma is for life. So henceforth, just “CROSS IT AND MOVE ON.”

Have you made a mistake? CROSS IT AND MOVE ON.

That is to say, take your mistakes to the Cross of Calvary, at the feet of Jesus, leave it there and move on. Don't try to create more irredeemable errors by trying within your power to erase it.

'To err is human' so put it in the hands of the “DIVINE ONE.”

Bear in mind:

The devil knows our name, but he calls us by our sins...

GOD knows our sins, but He calls us by our names...

In life, some may walk, others may run.

Remember: The Lord gave the Tortoise and the Horse the same days to reach Noah's ark. Your journey might be rough and tough, but you will definitely get to your destination.

"Be confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." - Philippians 1:6.

Stay Blessed!
